What happens to your documents

    Your files are never stored alongside any other client's.

    Files, the search index and conversation history are all encrypted.

  • Passages go to Anthropic

    To answer a question, Vantage sends the relevant passages of your documents to Anthropic (the company behind Claude) through your own account. Anthropic's commercial terms state that it does not train its models on content sent through its API.

  • You stay in control

    Only people you invite can log in, and you can delete documents and history at any time.

I'm Marcin, a developer based in Poland, building Vantage for small firms in the US. One person is responsible for everything, from setup to support. If Vantage isn't a good fit for your firm, I'll tell you before you spend anything.

Common questions

What files can I upload?

PDFs, Word documents (.docx) and plain text (.txt). Scanned PDFs that are only images, with no selectable text, are not supported yet.

Can I upload documents that contain personal data?

Vantage works best on business documents such as contracts, leases, specs and reports. Please leave out highly sensitive personal data, for example Social Security numbers, bank account details or medical information. If your documents contain personal data and you're unsure, ask me before you upload.

How is this different from ChatGPT or NotebookLM?

Those are good general tools, and fine for one person trying out a few files. Vantage is set up for a whole firm: one private instance with your document library, a separate login and cost limit for each person, a source on every answer, and the setup and support handled by me. Your files stay on your own instance, and you pay Anthropic directly for AI usage.

What if an answer is wrong?

That's why every answer shows the page it relied on, so you can check it in one click. Vantage is a fast way to find and read information, not a replacement for professional judgment. Anything that matters, verify in the source.

How many documents can it hold?

I've tested it with 300 multi-page PDFs in a single instance. If you need more room, storage can be increased.

Can my whole team use it? Do I need IT?

Yes. You invite each person separately and can give each one their own monthly cost limit. It runs in a web browser, so there's nothing to install.

How much does it cost?

The demo is free. Your own instance is a one-time setup plus a monthly fee (hosting, bug fixes and support). I'll give you the exact numbers before you commit. You pay Anthropic directly for AI usage from your own account, usually a few cents up to around fifteen cents per question.

How do we start?

You request demo access and get a login. You try Vantage on sample documents. If it fits, I set up your private instance and help you load your files.

What if I need something it doesn't do yet?

Tell me. Anything beyond the standard setup, for example reading scanned documents, is scoped and priced separately, and I'll tell you the cost before I start.
